"Lollypop Farm is celebrating the birth of two baby goats!
Harvey and Noel were born Tuesday at the organization’s main location in Fairport.
The two nannies (mother goats), Katrina and Darcy, were originally brought to Lollypop Farm in July when the organization assisted the Albany County Sheriff’s Office and the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society in the seizure of 27 goats, three horses, and one llama.
The animals were part of a case involving over 120 animals found living in deplorable conditions in Westerlo, New York. WNYT reports, in total, 16 horses, 56 dogs, 27 chickens, 27 goats, and a llama. Of the animals transported to Lollypop Farm from this case, 13 have already found new homes.
Lollypop Farm says the nannies and kids born Tuesday will need care and will not be made available for adoption for a couple of months.
At this time, Lollypop Farm is asking those considering adopting to fill out an applicationand email it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
