"There is some of good news after a horrifying scene of animal neglect unravelled in Beamsville earlier this year.
Animal lovers were shocked over the summer when almost 100 live cats and hundreds of bodies were discovered at a property on Merritt Road.
After months of care, only 10 of the cats removed from the home are still looking for new families.
But the work isn't over yet - Dinah Nichol of Project Save a Cat’s Life tells the Hamilton Spectator neighbours are still seeing at least a trio of cats roaming around the area.
In the meantime, a Change.org petition calling for a new, independent investigation has garnered more than four thousand signatures."
